Twitter Searches For 'Love Rat'

Hundreds of users on Twitter have united to try and track down a "love rat" after he was overheard telling his friends that he was cheating on his girlfriend.

Emily Shepherd, 23, took to the social networking site on Friday as he was on the Bournemouth to Manchester train that morning. She simply wrote: "If anyone has a boyfriend called Ben.. he's just told his friends he's cheating on you."

Ms Shepherd later said that as the carriage was fairly empty, 'Ben' was heard talking to his friends when he admitted he had been unfaithful.

Since posting her message, it has been re-tweeted more than 26,000 times.

At the time of writing, Ben had still not been identified.
