The couple were expected to tie the knot this year, but now the former Geordie Shore star has said that they have pushed their wedding back by up to two years as she does not yet feel ready to be a wife.
Speaking to OK! magazine, the 30-year-old said that despite announcing her engagement in July 2017, neither she nor her partner had left enough time to plan the big day.
She explained: "We are putting the wedding back a year or two. We've been so stressed building our dream house and I haven't been able to dedicate enough time to the wedding as well.
"I don't want to rush it and to be honest I don't think I'm ready to be a wife yet. I'm loving being a fiancée. Being a fiancée is young and exciting. I've just come to terms with being 30.
"I'm not ready to come to terms with being married yet as well. I want to enjoy my engagement for a few years. I have my whole life to be a wife so I want to give being a fiancée some loving for a few years too."
Vicky and John announced their engagement in July 2017. The pair previously knew each other, dating for eight months, but lost touch when Vicky began appearing on Geordie Shore in 2011. In 2016, they bumped into each other on a train and rekindled their romance.
