Married At First Sight Pair Will Have To Wait A Year To Get Divorced

'Married At First Sight' couple Richard and Harriet will have to wait a year until they can get divorced.

The pair wed on the show, however things did not work out between them and they decided to separate.


Richard would have liked to have worked on their relationship, however Harriet did not want to.

Speaking to The Sun, they said: "The production will cover the costs of the divorce if it is triggered in the 12 months from the wedding day.

"Under UK law divorce proceedings cannot start until 12 months after the marriage took place so it can be 18 months since the wedding day before the legal divorce process is completed."
