Emily Ratajkowski Only Accepted Proposal With Paperclip Ring

Emily Ratajkowski has revealed that she only accepted her now husband's marriage proposal after he made her a ring from a paperclip.

The 26-year-old model married Sebastian Bear-McClard earlier this year after allegedly only dating for a matter of months.


Ratajkowski revealed how her partner proposed while appearing on the The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.

Speaking to Fallon, she said: "He proposed to me at Minetta Tavern [a French restaurant in New York City] and he didn't have a ring.

"He then took the paperclip that the bill was paid with and made me a ring, which I actually thought was really romantic."

During the interview she also revealed that the couple smelted their own rings, using an ounce of gold that they bought in Chinatown.
