Jane McDonald's Husband Left To 'Save Her Career'

Presenter Jane McDonald has revealed that her second marriage ended in order to "save her career".

Speaking the Mirror, the former Loose Women presenter said that her husband and manager Henrik Brixen "decided to call time on the marriage amid concerns he would prevent Jane from being successful" after four years.


In the interview, McDonald said that Henrik "tried his very very best" but didn't know the industry. Apparently the couple had reached a point where Henrik has "made quite a few enemies", which caused him to tell her: "If I don't leave you, you are never going to have a career."

She added: "And that is why I never talk about Henrik in a bad light at all because he was the one that walked out of the marriage to save my career."
