The LLA has announced the #NHS70 Women Leaders Award, to celebrate both 100 years of sufferage and the 70th birthday of the NHS.
Nominations are open now and can be made by completing a form that details how the nominee has met each of the criteria including inspiration, courage, influence, resilience, drive and compassion.
As the LLA works across health and care in the capital, nominees are restricted to the London geography, however, leaders working on any NHS-funded health and care services, including patients and lay partners, are welcome.
Nominees will be notified and sent the nomination, which they must accept before being considered for shortlisting. Self-nominations aren’t accepted.
Winners will be announced on the LLA website and social media on 5 July with a celebration event expected to take place later in the year.
The deadline for entries is 8 May.
