Kodaline In High Demand As Wedding Performers

The frontman of theband Kodaline, Steve Garrigan, has said they are constantly asked to provide the soundtrack for first dances but have always said they are "too busy."

The four musicians are known for their emotional ballads.

In an interview for the Daily Star newspaper, Steve said: "There's this one song on the second album 'The One' that I wrote for my friend, I said I'd write him the song as a wedding present.

"I played it at his wedding..and it has ended up becoming a song that a lot of people use as their first dance at their weddings."

He added: "My friend is a little annoyed as it's supposed to be his song but it's become a song for a lot of people."

Steve also addressed his own long-term relationship with girlfriend Diana Bunici, saying marriage is something he thinks about and "will probably happen at some point" but he has no plans anytime soon.
