Tyrese Gibson Is A Father For The Second Time

Tyrese and Samantha Gibson have welcomed their first child together as Samantha gave birth to baby Soraya on Monday, 1 October, a second daughter for Tyrese who has 11-year-old Shayla from a previous marriage.

The 39-year-old singer and actor announced the newborn on Instagram with a picture of her footprints. He wrote: "Father God we love you for delivering on your promise, Soraya Lee Gibson is here.


"8 pounds 6 oz, our lives just changed forever."

Tyrese praised his wife for her strength during birth. He said: "My wife is the real champion, 30 hours of labour.

"I witnessed first hand the strength of a woman."

The couple married last year and revealed in April of this year they were "overly excited" to be expecting their first child together, after staging a fake movie trailer during an ultrasound scan as a way of announcing their pregnancy to their family.
