Chris Hemsworth Says Fatherhood Made His Career 'Suffer'

Australian actor and dad of three Chris Hemsworth has revealed he has felt his career suffer since getting married to wife Elsa Pataky and having children.

The Thor star told GQ Australia he does ponder whether or not his career took a toll after he started a family. He said: "I do wonder sometimes if we hadn't met, what my career would look like."

The 35-year-old has three children named Sasha, India Rose and Tristan.

He revealed that he often feels as though he makes decisions based on his children and it influences his work ethic.

"There's times when i've thought 'Wow, because having kids is more important to me, some of my roles have suffered.'"

Chris did clarify that he certainly doesn't regret having a family, but is "aware" of the sacrifices he has made to be a good dad.

He believes he has witheld a lot of his energy when working on some films because he would rather have spent time with his children.
