Obama's Declare Their Love On 26th Wedding Anniversary

Barack and Michelle Obama took to Twitter to wish each other a happy wedding anniversary on Wednesday.

Their love for each other was on display for all to read as they celebrated 26 happy years of marriage.

Barack wrote to his wife: "For 26 years, you've been an extraordinary partner, someone who can always make me laugh, and my favourite person to see the world with."


A snap of Michelle looking out an airplane window accompanied the post.

Not to be shown up by her husband, Michelle posted her own sweet message. She wrote: "Thank you @barackobama for 26+ years of love, trust, and respect- for being a man who always lifts up and honours me and our wonderful girls."

The former First Lady also said: "each day I'm with you, i'm reminded of what a treasure you truly are to us all."
