Former First Daughter Barbara Bush Gets Married

Barbara Bush wed Craig Louis Coyne last weekend on the coast of Maine, after her father and former president, George W. Bush, walked her down the aisle.

The former first daughter, 36, married her 37-year-old screenwriter and actor fiancé Craig Louis Coyne, her twin sister Jenna Bush Hager has confirmed.

Barbara donned an ivory silk crepe custom gown by Vera Wang for her wedding that took place at the same spot she got engaged.


The setting on the coast of Maine was also the place where her grandfather, former president George H.W. Bush, and Barbara's late namesake grandmother, Barbara Bush, married decades earlier.

"My heart exploded last night as I watched my dearest sissy get married in Maine," wrote maid of honour Jenna, whose daughters Mila and Poppy served as flower girl and ring bearer.

"Happy tears, heart exploding as I watched this beautiful girl get married in the place that means love and family.

"I'm so proud to be this beauties sister."
