Meghan Trainor Texts Wedding Invites

Singer Meghan Trainer has been inviting guests to her upcoming wedding to Daryl Sabara by text because she doesn’t trust people to read letters or emails.

The 24-year-old star discussed her nuptials with talk show host Jimmy Fallon: "My problem is I'm not sending out invites. I'm texting people…


"I'm tired. I don’t want to pick out a card. What if they don't get it in the mail? Who checks their mail?

"Everyone reads their texts even if they don't respond," Meghan added.

The singer did admit there are some disadvantages to using text messages, as she has invited a few people she later regrets.

Her fiancé Daryl is said to be happy to let Meghan take control of the plans. He said: "I'm so excited. Dreaming about it every night. It's her special day, I'm just happy to be a part of it. Just excited she said 'Yes' to the engagement."
