The actress married the film producer in 2007 and they have two children together, 10-year-old Birdie and five-year-old Cricket.
She recently spoke about when her love life hit a rough patch that caused her to seek emotional support from another man and then consider a divorce, before Michelle urged her to give it more thought.
Writing in her new memoir This Will Only Hurt a Little, Busy said: "There was a man I was friends with, another dad. We'd been having lunch and stuff, texting. Talking on the phone a lot. Honestly, I had a crush on him. I liked him. Maybe I even loved him? He clearly liked me too."
Busy explained that when she asked her husband Marc for a divorce, her best friend Michelle said she should try to protect her family and give him another chance.
"Honestly, if you can keep your family intact, I think you should do it," Michelle told her.
Busy and Marc later started attending therapy separately to work on their marital issues and are still together today.
