Sophie Ellis-Bextor Didn't Plan Her Latest Pregnancy

Sophie Ellis-Bextor has admitted that although she's overjoyed to be expecting her fifth child, she would have been crazy to plan another baby.

The singer is delighted to be expecting again with her husband Richard Jones, a sibling for their four sons, Sonny, Kit, Ray and Jesse.


Despite this, she told 'Jeremy Vine' recently: "People asked me if I planned it- I'm not that crazy, but it was definitely a happy thing."

Although her home life is busy and demanding, Sophie loves having a large brood.

She said: "I'm pretty relaxed, it's chaotic family life and we're happy and I really like how I grew up with lots of brothers and sisters."

When Sophie first announced her pregnancy on BBC Radio 2 Breakfast in August, she said it was "mental".
