Co-Parenting Is Hard For Eric Dane And Rebecca Gayheart

Eric Dane and Rebecca Gayheart are struggling to cope with the challenges of co-parenting, after ending their 14-year marriage in February.

The pair have two daughters, Billie, who is eight, and Georgia, six, together.

Speaking to U.S Weekly magazine, Rebecca said: "We're doing our best. It isn't easy. But we are trying and we are committed."

Gayheart filed for both legal and joint custody of their children, and hopes to go back to work to set a good example to the girls.

"I think that as a female you need to be able to always take care of yourself and never depend on a man. I'm going back to work and I think it's partly because I want my daughters to see me work.

"A lot of little girls watch movies and they start fantasising about Prince Charming saving them. I think that's a message that's very old fashioned."
