Anthony Quinlan Insists Strictly Come Dancing Didn't Ruin His Relationship

Anthony Quinlan has revealed that his split from Strictly Come Dancing star Dianne Buswell was nothing to do with Joe Sugg, despite rumours of the so-called 'Strictly curse".

The Emmerdale actor and the professional dancer ended their romance recently, amid reports that the closeness between Diane and Joe was a problem, but Anthony has insisted that living apart was the reason.


Speaking to the Daily Star newspaper, he said: "We're still really good friends - it's just distance that played a part.

"There were all these rumours about the Strictly curse, but it wasn't that.

"I'm actually rooting for Joe and Dianne. They're doing absolutely amazing in Strictly and I still think the world of the girl."

The split confirmation followed reports that the pair had ended things weeks ago.
