Kenya Moore's Pregnancy Health Scare

Kenya Moore has revealed she is suffering from preeclampsia late in her pregnancy, as her due date rapidly approaches.

The Real Housewives of Atlanta star posted a picture over the weekend that showed her extremely swollen feet.

She divulged that it is caused by the pregnancy complication, which is "characterised by high blood pressure and signs of damage to another organ system, most often the liver and kidneys".


Kenya explained that she was diagnosed with the condition the day after making fun of her swollen feet while at a party with friends.

"I gained 17lbs in one week due to severe swelling and water retention, high blood pressure, and excess protein in urine. This is NOT normal!"

She added that the baby is doing well, despite the health complications.
