Shania Twain Is Embracing Her 50's

Country singer Shania Twain has opened up about her secret to growing older, and revealed she feels happier than ever as she embraces her 50's.

The 53-year-old told Extra: "I'm happy as ever to be my age. Real is good. My career is more fun than ever, and I'm enjoying life."


The Canadian star has took on a new role as the judge for singing competition Real Country and said the contestants must take risks.

"It's all about being original and unique," she added.

Shania opened up about her Lyme disease diagnosis in 2003, for which she had surgery before retiring in 2004, but has recently made a comeback to the music scene.
