Zayn Malik Is No Longer A Muslim

Zayn Malik has said he no longer identifies as a Muslim, despite being raised in the religion, as he doesn't agree with many of the practices tied to the faith.

The former One Direction star told British Vogue magazine that although he has a "spiritual belief" in God, he doesn't believe in eating a certain meat "that's been prayed over a certain way" or reading a prayer in a different language five times a day.


"I don't believe any of it. I just believe if you're a good person everything is going to go right for you."

The 25-year-old singer added that he wants to live his life in a "nice way" and simply thinks if he behaves well, he will be treated the same.
