Jessica Chastain Welcomes Daughter Via Surrogate

Jessica Chastain and her husband Gian Luca Passi de Preposulo reportedly welcomed their daughter Giulietta into the world via surrogate four months ago.

Photos published by Page Six showed the 41-year-old actress carrying the baby in a car seat in New York, as she strolled with her husband to a paediatrician's office.


The Zero Dark Thirty actress was also seen previously pushing a pram in Boston, fuelling speculation she'd become a parent by adoption or surrogacy.

Jessica married the fashion executive last year, after admitting she'd never been interested in tying the knot.

"When I first met my husband, he knew that marriage wasn't something I was interested in.

"And then as we got to know each other, the idea shifted for me. There are some things worth celebrating."
