Mel B And Eddie Murphy Were Happy When They Fell Pregnant

Mel B has revealed that she was "bursting with the best news ever" when she and Eddie Murphy learned they were expecting, and questioned where the year-long relationship went wrong after that.

The 43-year-old singer gave birth to their daughter Angel in 2007, shortly after the romance ended.


Writing in her new memoir entitled Brutally Honest, the Spice Girls star said: "When I got pregnant with Angel we jumped around his ensuite bathroom laughing and crying.

"My family thought it was great because they had never seen me so blissed out.

"I'd never felt so in love. So, why did it all go so spectacularly wrong?"

Mel added that she and Eddie lived in "two different worlds".

When her pregnancy was revealed, the Hollywood icon declared that he would only believe he was the biological father if a paternity test was taken.

It was later confirmed that he was Angel's dad.
