Drew Barrymore Bans Kids From Acting Industry

Drew Barrymore refuses to let her children go into acting just yet but has vowed to be supportive if they wanted to do it in later life.

The star has four-year-old Frankie and six-year-old Olive and revealed to People magazine that she doesn't believe the industry is a suitable environment for children.


She told People magazine: "I'm not going to let them be kid actors. That's so not their journey.

"Can you imagine being a mom who is pushing her kids out there? That's not going to happen."

The actress added that when she takes her daughters to a live show, they are keen to get on the stage and join the performers.

"They've got the Barrymore gene," she joked.
