Sarah Ferguson Pays Tribute To Queen Elizabeth

Sarah Ferguson has praised Queen Elizabeth, and revealed that it was Her Majesty who invited her along to Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan's wedding in May.

The Duchess of York was previously married to Prince Andrew and said it was a "wonderful gesture" for the monarch to include her in the couple's special day at Windsor Castle.


Speaking on Good Morning Britain on Wednesday 21 November, she said: "I just think that Her Majesty is an incredible lady.

"What an icon to the country, and one of the finest people I've ever met."

Sarah admitted that she is always nervous about falling over when attending such events, especially when her daughter Princess Eugenie married Jack Brooksbank last month.

"It was very nerve-wracking," she said, and added that both weddings were emotional occasions.

"I kept thinking of Diana in my heart and I thought of my mum and my father."
