I'm A Celebrity's John Barrowman Reveals Adoption Plans

John Barrowman has opened up on I'm A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! about how he would love to become a father, and why he hasn't made the step just yet.

The 51-year-old Doctor Who star confessed: "I would still like to adopt", before explaining that his husband Scott Gill, who he married in 2013, isn't quite ready yet.


"It has to be a partnership thing and I don't think Scott is ready for it.

"I can't just go out and buy one at Tesco and bring it home," he quipped.

The actor, who has starred in numerous musicals, joked that he would have to restrain his habit of singing before heading into the jungle, so ITV wouldn't have to pay him royalties, but promptly broke into song when he settled into camp.
