The singer dated the likes of Pete Davidson, who she split from in October following a four-month engagement, as well as the late Mac Miller and rapper Big Sean.
Speaking to Billboard magazine, the 25-year-old revealed that she dislikes not being able to meet someone casually while out and about due to her fame, but is also grateful for public romances.
"This is how I meet people," she explained.
"I live fast and full-out, and I make mistakes, I learn from them, and I'm grateful no matter what happens."
The star's new single features a tribute to many of her past flames, and after the death of Mac in September of this year at the age of 26, Ariana doesn't believe she is fearful of much more in life.
"I guess there's not much I'm afraid of anymore…when life tries you with such seriousness so many times, your priorities change…I just want to be happy and healthy, one day, and make music."
