Rose Byrne Finds Parenting Overwhelming

Rose Byrne has admitted that being a parent is "so overwhelming" and explained that no advice can prepare you for the responsibility.

The 29-year-old actress has sons Rocco, two, and Rafa, 13 months, with her husband Bobby Cannavale and has opened up about the challenges of motherhood.


Speaking to TV Week, she said: "It doesn't come with a manual and no matter how many friends tell you stuff, nothing can really prepare you for it."

It comes after she condemned the online world for placing unreasonable expectations on mothers.

"There is so much aspiration around motherhood and fatherhood and families, particularly around social media."

The actress stars in a new film, Instant Families, alongside Mark Wahlberg, in which she shows the downside of fostering three children.
