Maisie Williams & Sophie Turner's Friendship Was Destiny

'Game of Thrones' actress Maisie Williams has joked about how the HBO series was simply a way of bringing her and Sophie Turner, her on-screen sister and real-life best friend, together.

The co-stars play Arya and Sansa Stark and have developed a tight bond over the ten years of filming.


Maisie explained: "Of course, although the show is ending for us as a group of friends it's just the beginning.

"Sophie and I say we can't wait for the rest of our lives - it's like we got married! It's one big convoluted way for me and Sophie to meet each other."

It comes after Sophie revealed last week that Maisie will act as her maid of honour when she weds pop star Joe Jonas.
