Amy Schumer Laughs Off Mum-Shamers

New mother Amy Schumer has laughed off those who criticised her for returning to work just two weeks after giving birth.

The comedian welcomed son Gene Attell Fischer on 05 May with her husband Chris Fischer and was back onstage this week at New York City's Comedy Cellar for a stand-up gig.


Following a wave of criticism from so-called "mum-shamers" who felt her decision to perform was perhaps a little too hasty, Amy refused to let the negative comments get to her.

Posting a picture of herself pumping breast milk the next day whilst rubbing her tired eyes, she poked fun at her critics: "Sending out love to the moms shaming me for doing standup last night! #tinystairs #schumerpumprules."
