Sia Wants To Adopt A Teenager

Australian singer-songwriter Sia is hoping to adopt a 16-year-old boy after learning about his tragic childhood on a HBO documentary.

The star has no children as yet, but took to Twitter to share that she would like to adopt Dasani after being moved by his story on 'Foster'.


She posted: "Hey Dasani from 'Foster' on @HBO! I'd like to adopt you we're just trying to find you and get my house check done etc. But I want you to know you will have a home with me."

The moving documentary explores the world of foster care through a series of compelling stories. When Dasani was just four years old, he witnessed his parent's deaths and was later abused by a relative who adopted him, according to the show. He has been living in a "group home" ever since, which he said is like being on "lockdown".
