The actress admitted that she and Danny, the father of her 10-month-old daughter Rani Rose, have been discussing the prospect of marriage and believe it would mean a lot to their family.
Asked by Stella magazine if she imagines herself walking down the aisle again, Kate responded: "Probably, I think so. We think about that a lot.
"Marriage is definitely not a golden ticket - it's not going to solve any challenges in a relationship.
"But as someone who's lived through... well, trial and error, I think that the symbolism of marriage, that commitment, is more important to kids than we sometimes think."
Kate was previously married to Chris Robinson, with whom she has son Ryder, age 15, and engaged to Matt Bellamy, who is dad to Bingham, age eight.
