The couple said they conceived with the help of IVF after almost 20 years together, and appeared overjoyed when each sharing the news with fans.
Ola, aged 36, told her 218,000 Instagram followers: "I can't actually believe I'm writing this but I'm so happy to say James and I are expecting a baby.
"We are both so excited to add a little munchkin into our family. We have so much love to share and I know James will be the best daddy ever.
"He's actually a real softy and already talking to our baby every day close to my belly.
"I've been with James for over half of my life and I always said I would never love anyone as much as I love him..... but now I will, just in a very different way. I can't wait to meet this little person growing inside me and give them all the love I possibly can."
The mum-to-be continued: "I still can't believe I'M HAVING A BABY," before adding: "Getting pregnant wasn't straight forward for us and it's been a long and emotional journey but we were one of the lucky ones.
"My heart goes out to all those couples still trying for that magical moment and I'll always keep a prayer in my heart for you."
Meanwhile, 'Dancing On Ice' winner James shared his own emotional message with fans: "Myself and @olajordan have been waiting for this moment for what seems like an eternity.
"After being with each other for 20 years and our love for each other growing stronger every day we finally feel complete and are so excited to share our amazing news that we are expecting a baby!!!!
"It's been a long time coming but the day we found out was honestly the happiest day of our lives. It's something we have both wanted for a long time and I know Ola will make the best mummy ever."
He added: "For anyone else who might read this that is going through the emotional rollercoaster of trying to start a family, never ever stop believing and be there for each other like I was for Ola and she was for me.
"I now can't wait to hold my baby in my arms...... Big love to all of you xxx"
