Eva Mendes On The Demands Of Motherhood

Eva Mendes has spoken of her experience as a mother to two daughters, who she has with her husband Ryan Gosling.

The 45-year-old believes parenting is like any other real job, as it requires a range of skills and comes with a list of never-ending demands.


Speaking during an appearance on 'The Kelly Clarkson Show', she said: "Nobody told me it was really going to be a job, and a job I would need an incredible amount of skill for. I'm a chauffeur, a cook, a personal assistant to an abusive boss. They're not grateful. Any other profession you would need to pass a test, but the only test I had to pass was a pregnancy test. That doesn't seem fair."

The couple have Esmeralda, five and Amada, three.
