Alan Halsall Feels Pressured To Propose

Just months after confirming his relationship with Coronation Street co-star Tisha Merry, Alan Halsall has admitted he feels under pressure to pop the question.

The actor, best known for playing Tyrone Dobbs in the popular soap, feels his relationship is in its early days and is in no rush to take the next step.


Speaking to The Mirror, he said: "The pressure is there from day one but we've not been together that long, so I think we'll just enjoy ourselves for now."

Alan and Tisha confirmed their romance in May when attending their co-star Sam Aston's wedding, with the actor sharing a snap of them on Instagram.

"Congratulations Mr & Mrs Aston. What a wonderful day, we're so proud to be part of it," he wrote, while Tisha shared the same picture accompanied by a simple heart emoji.
