The singer walked out of their marriage in 2017 following almost twenty years together, however sources say she now feels it may have been too hasty.
An insider told new! Magazine: "Louise has been really struggling with feelings of regret and what could have been.
"And although it's natural for anyone coming out of a marriage, it's almost harder for her because she and Jamie still get on really well and spend a lot of time together.
"In a way, that reignites a lot of the old feelings of love for him."
On the potential of Jamie moving on with somebody new, the source added: "She knows it's inevitable that Jamie's going to need someone to fulfil that side of his life.
"Louise doesn't want to stand in the way of him moving on, but at the same time she openly admits she can't bear the thought of anyone else being with him.
"Louise has confided in her closest friends that she's in a grey area with Jamie — they're not together, but they still have something that's more than just friends.
"She feels like she can't open up to him about her feelings because she feels she would be placing unfair emotional baggage on him."
The reports come after Louise admitted she is unsure why her marriage ended during a recent appearance on This Morning.
