Nicki and Kenneth are planning a large celebration of their union after saying their nuptials in private late last month.
Speaking of the marriage, her mother Carol Maraj expressed her excitement: "I'm very happy. She'd been saying she was going to do something small, and then do something big within the next year, so my only thing was that I just wanted her to get married. I'm really excited."
Carol believes the newlyweds are made for each other. She added to People Now: "I don't really think about it, but I realise when I see them interact that they seem very happy to me."
After much of the legal wedding was kept under wraps, fans are now looking forward to news of the lavish celebration being planned for the pair's family and friends.
