The new family spent three nights in hospital before they could return to their Bedfordshire home.
Speaking of her new role as a mother, the 'Geordie OGs' star told OK! Magazine: "At first, adjusting to parent life was a bit of a shock to the system, because I had such a traumatic labour and birth, it made the first days harder, I wasn't able to do anything."
Casey added: "It was a shock, the first night I looked after him because Marnie couldn't.
"The first time he was an angel, I think because he was so tired from the birth but they were bad after that," he continued.
Marnie added: "Since we've come home, we've adjusted a lot better but we're still getting used to the sleepless nights."
