Matt Smith & Lily James Split

Matt Smith and Lily James are believed to have went their separate ways.

The couple began dating in 2014 and have each enjoyed career success in recent years, however the 'Crown' star and the 30 year-old actress are now understood to have split after things not being right between them for a long period.


A source told The Sun: "Things haven't been right for a while, and a few months ago they decided to finally end it properly.

"It has been difficult because they have many mutual friends, so hopefully it will all stay civilised. But for now the relationship is formally off."

The news may come as a surprise to fans after 'Doctor Who' star Matt hinted that he wants to start a family in the near future.
