Alan Alda On 62 Years Of Marriage

Alan Alda has spoken of his 62-year marriage with wife Arlene and admitted that it hasn't been without its up and downs.

The actor took his bride down the aisle in 1957 and, despite still being happily married, confessed that there have been times when she considered murder.


Appearing on the 'Present Company with Krista Smith' podcast, after playing a divorce lawyer in Noah Baumbach's 'Marriage Story', Alan was asked if he had ever considered a split himself.

He replied: "No, but I'm sure my wife contemplated murder."

The star revealed last year that he was diagnosed with Parkinson's disease in 2015.
