Ashton Kutcher Addresses Demi Moore Divorce

Acting on 'Two and a Half Men' helped Ashton Kutcher navigate his divorce from Demi Moore.

The star joined the sitcom to replace Charlie Sheen in 2011 and praised his supportive co-stars for helping him through the difficult time.

Ashton is now happily married to Mila Kunis, with whom he has two children.

Speaking of his time on the sitcom, the 41 year-old said he initially took the role to be closer to his former wife.

"I wanted to work on that with Demi," he told the 'WTF with Marc Aaron' podcast.

"I wanted to be home more...I had a really good time making it. I actually went through a divorce on that show which is a really hard thing to do.

"And having a family on set while going through that ... I needed that."

Praising his costars, Ashton continued: "Those people were all there for me and supported me while I was going through that, and it was phenomenal."

The 'That 70s Show' actor coped with the divorce my disappearing by himself for a week. He explained: "Right after I got divorced, I went to the mountains for a week by myself. I did no food, no drink - just water and tea. I took all my computers away, my phone, my everything. I was there by myself, so there was no talking. I just had a notepad, a pen and water and tea - for a week."
