Fern Britton Speaks Of Difficult Split From Husband

Fern Britton was left feeling "very low" after splitting from Phil Vickery, her husband of over 20 years, last year.

The TV presenter spoke candidly about the rough time she's been through on Twitter just weeks after announcing the separation.


"There are times when I've been very low," she said, before adding quickly: "It was a difficult year, but now I'm fine again."

Fern insisted things remain amicable between her and the celebrity chef as they "simply follow their own paths".

"We realised we weren't having the kind of life we once did. It seemed right to say 'thank you' and move on," the 62 year-old added.
