The former TOWIE star welcomed her first child on 24 February.
Appearing on ITV talkshow Lorraine alongside her mum, Debbie Bright, she opened up about their close bond ahead of Mother's Day as well as speaking about the birth.
The new mum gushed: "With Loretta, it's just like a whole new level of love you didn't know existed and just like that nothing else matters in the world.
"The whole labour was magical, it was very special, but the thing I wasn't really prepared for was the aftermath after giving birth. I mean, there were things coming out of my body I didn't even know was in there!"
The duo also addressed the challenges the new mum has faced since Loretta's birth, while Debbie offered her daughter a key piece of advice.
"Just don't stress over things, Lyd, because they're babies for such a small amount of time and life goes past in the flick of an eyelid."
After being praised by her mum for taking everything in her stride, Lydia vowed to continue to breastfeed whenever her daughter requires.
"I'm just going to be proud and breastfeed in public," she declared.
